Coffee

Single-origin lots and house blends from small roasters, plus flavoured coffees, decaf and single-serve capsules. Roasted to order where the maker allows it, with origin, roast level and tasting notes stated up front.

How to choose

Start with roast level. Light roasts keep the origin character — fruit, florals, acidity. Dark roasts go the other way: cocoa, smoke, body, and they hold up under milk. Medium sits between and is the safest first order.

Then pick your grind. Coarse for a press, medium for filter, fine for espresso. If you own a grinder, buy whole bean — pre-ground coffee stales within days of opening.

Then decide how much. A 12 oz bag is about two weeks for one person. Sample packs let you try several origins before committing to a full bag.

Questions

Is dark roast stronger in caffeine? No — darker roasting slightly reduces caffeine by weight. It tastes stronger because it is more bitter and fuller-bodied.

How should I store it? Airtight, at room temperature, away from light. Not the fridge, not the freezer.

Whole bean or ground? Whole bean if you own a grinder — always the better cup. Ground is right if you do not, and we grind to the method you choose.
