Where we ship
We ship within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Processing time
Orders are prepared for dispatch within 1–3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
If we cannot ship your order within that window, we will email you, give you a revised date, and offer you the option to cancel for a full refund.
Delivery time and cost
Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 2–7 business days depending on your address and the carrier. Exact methods, rates and estimates are shown at checkout, calculated from the items in your cart and your delivery address.
Why your order may arrive in several packages
Chinara curates tea, coffee and equipment from independent makers, and each maker ships from its own location. If your order contains items from more than one maker, it will arrive in more than one package, often on different days, each with its own tracking number. You are never charged more than once for shipping because of this.
Tracking
Tracking is emailed to the address used at checkout as soon as each package is dispatched. If your order ships in several packages, expect several emails. If tracking has not arrived within 3 business days of your order, write to office.chinara@gmail.com with your order number.
Incorrect addresses
Please check your address at checkout. We cannot reroute a package once it has been dispatched. Orders returned to sender because of an incorrect or incomplete address will be refunded less the original shipping cost.
Lost or delayed packages
If tracking shows no movement for 7 business days, or shows delivered but you have not received the package, contact us. We will open a claim with the carrier and either replace the order or refund it.
Weather and seasonal delays
Carriers occasionally experience delays during severe weather and peak seasons. We will keep you informed if your order is affected.
