If you're not using a scale to measure your tea, this is a great start. This BPA-free clear plastic scoop measures 1 tablespoon of tea. Remember, tablespoons measure by volume and not by weight. This will get you close to our recommended 3.5 grams of tea per cup for standard black teas.

How to brew or use it

Chinara starting point: use the maker’s directions when supplied. Otherwise begin with 1 teaspoon per 8 oz, taste from 2 minutes, and adjust. Use cooler water for green and white tea; hotter water for black and herbal tea.
